Radiologic Technologist

Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the Radiologic Technologist is responsible for obtaining high-quality images as requested from medical professionals for use in the development of treatment plans for our patients.

  • Greet and accompany patients to dressing and exam rooms.
  • Set up and maintain patient dressing and recovery rooms.
  • Perform high-quality radiographic procedures, under supervision of radiologist.
  • Maintain procedure rooms, including ordering and stocking supplies.
  • Ensure rapid, efficient turnover of procedure rooms.
  • Maintain film badges.
  • Ensure radiation safety procedures are being followed.
  • Lead shielding of patients whenever possible.
  • Manual collimation for all views, C-Arm and X-Ray.
  • Limit repeat views whenever possible.
  • Wear protective lead apparel and dosimetry devices during X-Ray/Fluoro procedures.
  • Complete all necessary administrative duties associated with patient exams in Centricity EMR and DR Systems PACS.
  • Ensure that preventive maintenance is being done on equipment. Maintain appropriate equipment documentation.
  • Follow state regulations for X-ray logs.
Education: Completion of course in Radiologic Technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Experience: One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in orthopedic/spine/pain management is preferred.

1. Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
2. Current License with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
3. Current License by the State of Arkansas
4. Continuing Education will be a required
