Top Arkansas law firm is accepting resumes for a Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join a busy and growing practice. The HR Generalist will play a key role in the Human Resources department, supporting various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws, coupled with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
- Assist CHRO in employee relations by serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and assist in developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries.
- Maintain employee records and generate reports as needed.
- Participate in and lead various HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and employee engagement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment. (In lieu of formal education, 5+ years of experience)
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
