Human Resources Generalist

Top Arkansas law firm is accepting resumes for a Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join a busy and growing practice. The HR Generalist will play a key role in the Human Resources department, supporting various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws, coupled with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
  • Assist CHRO in employee relations by serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and assist in developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries.
  •  Maintain employee records and generate reports as needed.
  • Participate in and lead various HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and employee engagement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment. (In lieu of formal education, 5+ years of experience)
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
