Policy Analyst III 

Immediate Opening | Full-Time

Our client, a well-established organization in the insurance industry, is seeking a highly detail-oriented Policy Analyst Level III to join their Insurance Operations team .

This role is ideal for candidates with strong clerical accuracy, advanced data entry skills, and experience handling high volumes of insurance policies in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: Starting at $19.00/hour (Temp-to-Hire)
Schedule: Full-time | Regular attendance required


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all essential functions of Policy Analyst I and II
  • Analyze and process policy transactions including:
  • New applications
  • Changes/endorsements
  • Renewals and non-renewals
  • Cancellations and reinstatements
  • Audits
  • Ensure accuracy of policy data entry and compliance with underwriting guidelines
  • Test and validate system/programming changes in partnership with IT
  • Provide operational support to Underwriting on procedures and policy questions
  • Assist agents and internal teams with rate and policy inquiries
  • Manually calculate policy rates and premiums when required
  • Cross-train in multiple business lines; assist with training and quality review of staff
  • Communicate with insureds, agents, lienholders, mortgagees, and internal departments via phone, email, and written correspondence
  • Meet production, accuracy, and turnaround time standards in a high-volume environment

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong clerical aptitude and high-volume data entry experience

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office and policy administration systems)

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to learn quickly and follow complex procedures

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Reliable attendance and dependability

Preferred

  • Insurance industry experience (policy processing, underwriting support, or operations)

  • Property & Casualty insurance background

  • Experience with rating, underwriting guidelines, or compliance processes

  • Prior analyst or insurance operations experience
