IT Specialist

Top Arkansas law firm is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to provide desktop support and technical assistance to end users in a professional environment. This role will troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user account issues while supporting computers, printers, mobile devices, Microsoft applications, and audio/visual technology.

The IT Specialist will assist with desktop deployments, Active Directory/Microsoft 365 administration, network equipment, phone systems, and courtroom/trial technology support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and software applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user hardware and software issues
  • Manage user accounts, passwords, and account access
  • Deploy and configure new computers using standard procedures
  • Support Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and business applications
  • Assist with network equipment including switches, routers, wireless systems, and phone systems
  • Set up and support audio/visual equipment for meetings and trials

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; technical certifications preferred
  • Experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra, and desktop support
  • Basic understanding of networking, hardware, and troubleshooting
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support users in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred Experience:

  • Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or other IT certifications
  • Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, networking, and Cisco products
  • Legal, courtroom, or trial technology support experience is a plus
Compensation/Benefits:
  • $26.00 per hour minimum depending on experience
