Human Resources Specialist

Large medical practice has an opening for a full-time Human Resources Specialist. 

Responsibilities will include:
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation and processing of New Hire paperwork
  • Organize, maintain and update personnel files
  • Data entry of new employees’ information and termination
  • Act as a point of contact for employees with questions and concerns
  • Provide guidance to local staff in regards to employee relations issues
  • Conduct and document exit interviews, process of all separation activities
  • Complete verification of employment for active and inactive staff
  • Responsible for successful open enrollment, new hire enrollment, vendor management including billing, COBRA, ACA compliance and qualifying life events
  • Provide support in all other special HR initiatives as needed

Qualifications include :
  • 2-5 years experience in compensation/benefits management
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • High-level Excel skills
  • Associates degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development or other related course of study or equivalent experience.
Selected candidate will be self-motivated, show great attention to detail, and demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.
