compensation/benefits and employment management

This position will focus on compensation, benefits and employment. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of employee benefits (health and welfare plans, company fleet, 401(k) plan, FMLA) including broker relationships, plan and provider selection, implementation, billing, reporting, enrollment, claims management and day to day administration.

Primary duties of the HR Manager include:
  • Oversee the ADP HRIS/Payroll system and take the lead on system upgrades
  • Assist with developing compensation plans
  • Manage annual salary reviews
  • Prepare comp plan models
  • Assist with payroll preparation
  • Manage timekeeping and attendance
  • Conduct salary surveys
  • Insure compliance with labor and employment laws
  • Manage FMLA and Work Comp claims
  • Maintain employee records
  • Manage the Receptionist and phone/front desk coverage
  • Assist in policy development and implementation
  • Assist in recruiting
  • Promote positive employee relations and a culture of high performance

Qualifications include :
  • 2-5 years experience in compensation/benefits management
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • High-level Excel skills
  • HRIS experience with working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred.
