Marketing Account Manager

The function of the Account Manager is to provide direct support to Clients and production departments in order to ensure that both the company and it’s clients are able to meet their growth and retention targets. Must be experienced in managing the scope, timeline, and budgets of clients and projects.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
  • Work with all personnel and outside contacts to satisfy clients and achieve company goals
  • Identify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions
  • Arrive to work and meetings on time and prepared
  • Perform any other duties assigned by your manager
  • Complete and maintain accurate renewal forecasts, data gathering and reports
  • Participate in management meetings and take responsibility for sales and service improvement initiatives and other assigned action items
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain accountability by updating CRM and the Prospective Business report with current activities
  • Assisting Sales Managers on an as needed basis
  • Meeting clients to discuss their ongoing needs
  • Presenting campaign ideas to clients
  • Negotiating with clients, solving any problems and making sure deadlines are met
  • Checking and reporting on the client’s progress
  • Managing the account budget
  • Attending and assisting in sales presentations
  • Attend periodic training where applicable
  • Appropriately communicate brand identity

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years demonstrable prior sales and/or project management experience
  • High School or equivalent degree (College Degree preferred)
  • Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member
