Position: Scanning/Office Assistant
Job Description: Operates the scanner on a daily basis to maintain electronic document retention and storage for client files, documents, correspondence, pleadings, etc. Also serves as a back-up receptionist when the main receptionist is out of the office or on break. Keeps documents to be filed directly into the client files organized and places the documents into the files as time allows. Pays close attention when placing labels inside client files that specify updated contact information (address and/or telephone number).
Education and Experience: Associate’s Degree or equivalent or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Ability to pay attention to small details and maintain accuracy.
· Ability to properly alphabetize a considerable amount of documents and files.
· Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence at times.
