As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex and high-impact cases, gaining valuable experience and expertise in medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and public interest law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft high-quality responses to motions, including summary judgment, motions to dismiss, and motions in limine
- Prepare and draft discovery responses, objections, and complaints
- Review and analyze incoming discovery, identifying key documents for use in depositions
- Draft critical documents to advance cases towards trial or settlement, including demand letters, mediation statements, witness and exhibit lists, and expert disclosures
- Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking skills to drive case strategy and outcomes
Requirements:
- Licensed attorney with strong reasoning and analytical skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
