Human Resources Assistant

Flourishing Little Rock company seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant. This well-known group is looking for an energetic professional to assist the Director with recruiting, onboarding and maintaining employee files.


  • Responsible for performing human resource administrative work and provide employee relations assistance
  • Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas
  • Coordinate New Hire Orientation
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
  • Support other assigned functions, responsible for the following functional areas: recruitment, onboarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices


  • High School education or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years' experience in Human Resources 
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Knowledge of HR practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of HRIS or ATS preferred
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment regulations preferred
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information 
  • Advanced organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills with attention to detail in composing and proofing materials
  • Excellent telephone and oral communication skills
