Legal Services Paralegal

Growing technology company looking to add to the legal services department in their Little Rock office!

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing and filing formation documents of all types of corporate entities including charter documents, organizational consents, bylaws, company agreements, partnership agreements, obtaining EIN ’s and qualifications in applicable state jurisdictions.
  • Preparing and filing applications with various state Real Estate Commissions across the United States.
  • Monitoring and reviewing transactional documents for the purpose of preparing and updating the closing checklist to track the status of transactional documents and the progression of the transaction.
  • Coordinating requests between multiple parties involved in real estate closings by way of consistent communication with real estate agents, corporate counsel.
  • Conducting legal research to include title searches, easements, right-of-way, etc.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and communicate case deadlines.
  • Assist with drafting and proofing documents, including contracts, contract templates, non-disclosures, letters of intent, etc.
  • Ensuring that all legal documentation and approvals have been obtained in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to be flexible and tackle various new tasks and projects, as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Certification, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years transactional experience in a law firm, title company or corporate legal department.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience preparing common real estate transaction documentation and familiarity with real property title matters
  • Superior written and oral communication skills required.
  • Excellent business judgment: intellectual curiosity and the ability to balance legal and business requirements.
  • Ability to work on multiple, complex transactions in fast paced, energetic environment.
  • Experience in contracts required and telecommunications, real estate and/or finance experience preferred.
