Locally owned tax, audit and consulting firm seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing tax returns, working with the tax department to meet deadlines, and interacting with clients.

Job Duties:

• Prepare tax returns, including Form 1040, Form 1120/1120S, Form 990, Form 1065, and Form 5500.
• Collaborate with the tax department to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings.
• Communicate and interact with clients to gather necessary information and address any questions or concerns.
• Stay updated on relevant tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Assist in tax planning and provide guidance to clients when needed.

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation, specifically with Form 1040, Form 1120/1120S, Form 990, Form 1065, and Form 5500.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with tax preparation software, particularly CCH A+.
• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
