APRN Primary Care- Little Rock
 

Duties Include:

Patient Assessments:

- Ensure all physical exam forms and medical records are completed promptly, keeping everything on track with program timelines.
- Sign APRN orders within the required timeframes to keep patient care moving smoothly.
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments, carefully analyzing and connecting the dots to provide the best care.
- Use your expertise to assess patients of different ages, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Order the necessary nursing interventions to address each patient’s specific issues.
- Arrange labs, EKGs, and other diagnostic tests as needed, following established guidelines.

Treatment Plan:
- Play a key role in developing effective treatment plans for patients.
- Set clear, measurable goals for patient outcomes that are both realistic and achievable.
- Keep a close eye on patient progress, adjusting care as needed to help them reach their health goals.
- Stay alert to any changes in patient conditions, take the necessary actions, and document everything.

Medication Management:
- Prescribe medications thoughtfully, adhering to established protocols to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Monitor for any side effects, managing them carefully, and reporting any adverse reactions promptly.
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and dietitians to provide well-rounded care.
- Show your skill in managing medications, making sure the treatment is right for each patient’s age group.

Documentation:
- Keep detailed records of all patient encounters, ensuring everything is documented on time.
- Sign off on all APRN orders without delay, keeping the process smooth and efficient.


Requirements:
- Hold a current AR License as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) with Prescriptive Authority.
- Practice within the guidelines set by the Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Act.
- Bring at least 2 years of relevant experience to the role.
