Senior Network Specialist

Rapidly expanding, family-owned business specializing in delivering high-quality IT services seeking a skilled Senior Network Specialist to join the team and contribute to our mission of providing superior IT solutions.

This full-time, salaried position is based in our Little Rock office and includes an "On Call" responsibility on a rotational basis. The Senior Network Specialist will collaborate with customers to optimize their IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and addressing technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support by answering and resolving customer support calls.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers regarding incident status, changes, and outages.
  • Analyze customer system specifications and business processes to provide tailored IT solutions.
  • Travel to customer sites using personal transportation (mileage reimbursed at federal rate).
  • Maintain professionalism and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Utilize a smartphone for work-related communication (service plan reimbursed).

Technical Duties:

  • Design, implement, and support network-level solutions, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, switches, access points, firewalls, and security protocols.
  • Provide technical support for Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and Hyper-V.
  • Administer, design, and implement hosted and cloud solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • Support remote access solutions, including VPN and Terminal Services.
  • Administer and maintain the remote monitoring and management system, including updating agent scripts, responding to alerts, monitoring dashboards, and conducting periodic system reviews.
  • Define project scopes, manage project timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems or at least 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the IT industry, specifically in the Managed IT Services category
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert.
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
  • Background check and drug screen required
