Customer Service Specialist

Little Rock, AR

Family owned and operated medical supply company seeking an energetic Customer Service Specialist to work the front desk and provide excellent care to customers as they go through the process of purchasing medical equipment.

Job Duties:

  • Answer busy phones and assist customers with questions regarding their orders/equipment
  • Collect patient information, verify insurance and help educate patients on what their insurance covers
  • Enthusiastically greet walk-in customers and assist them with in person purchases
  • Enter all new orders and ensure the proper ICD10 codes are applied
  • Request physician orders and medical records from physician offices and/or hospitals and submit prior authorizations
  • Collect upfront deposits or fees and ship medical orders
Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of prior customer service/retail experience
  • Great attitude and a passion for helping others
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong computer/data entry experience
  • Knowledge of ICD 10 codes a plus
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
Background check required
$16.50 - $18.00 per hour DOE
Medical insurance paid at 100%
401k with a 3% match
