Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our pain management team. In this role, you will help patients with chronic pain achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
- Treatment Implementation:
Assist in carrying out personalized treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Patient Assessment:
Track patient progress, note their response to therapy, and report any concerns or adverse effects to the Physical Therapist.
- Patient Education:
Teach patients and their families pain management techniques, home exercise routines, and lifestyle changes to support recovery.
- Team Collaboration:
Work closely with Physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide cohesive patient care.
- Equipment Management: Ensure therapy equipment is ready, clean, and organized for each session.
- Administrative Support:
Help with patient intake, scheduling, and other tasks to keep the facility running smoothly.

Requirements:
Education: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
Licensure: Must have a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in Arkansas.

Experience:
Prior experience in pain management or a related clinical setting is a plus but not required.
 Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.
 Patient-focused, compassionate, and a team player.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients as needed.
- Capable of performing physical tasks related to therapy and patient care.
