Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in clients and over the phone
- Assist customers with questions related to medical equipment, orders, and insurance
- Verify and collect patient information, including insurance coverage and eligibility
- Accurately enter orders and supporting documentation into the system, including ICD-10 codes
- Communicate with physicians' offices to obtain required documentation and prior authorizations
- Collect payments, process orders, and coordinate shipping logistics
- Maintain clean, organized front desk and service area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of customer service or retail experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical supply setting
- Strong computer skills, including data entry and order processing
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of ICD-10 codes and medical documentation is a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Background check required
