Clinic Medical Assistant (Full-Time)

Specialty Clinic | EPIC EMR | Monday–Friday

A busy specialty clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support providers with both clinical and administrative responsibilities. This role is best suited for a confident MA who is comfortable rooming patients, performing clinical tasks independently, and managing patient communication in a fast-paced environment.

This position may include occasional travel to outreach clinics, with mileage reimbursement provided.

 Compensation

• Starting pay: $16.50 per hour, with higher pay based on experience

Schedule & Benefits

• Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• No nights or weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs, including manual blood pressures

• Perform EKGs and document results appropriately

• Pre-chart patient information in EPIC EMR

• Prepare exam rooms and support providers during patient visits

• Return patient phone calls and communicate clinical information as directed

• Schedule hospital procedures and coordinate patient care

• Maintain medical equipment and clinical supplies

• Perform additional administrative duties as needed

• Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent medical office experience

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant

• Proven experience with vital signs, EKGs, and patient rooming

• Prior experience using EPIC EMR (preferred)

• Strong communication skills and a professional bedside manner

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
