**Position Overview:**
As an integral member of our team, the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical assistance to our patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing vital signs assessments, administering injections, conducting basic triage, and providing support during minor medical procedures.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform accurate and timely vital signs assessments for patients
- Administer injections and medications under the direction of medical staff
- Conduct basic triage assessments to determine patient needs and urgency of care
- Assist healthcare providers during minor medical procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently in electronic medical records
**Requirements:**
- Graduate from a formal Medical Assistant (MA) training program that includes a pharmacology class, anatomy/physiology, basics of medication administration, and completion of a clinical externship
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred
- Previous experience working in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
